Photographer. Of 1990. Born in Częstochowa.
A few years back he started to publish his photos on the internet, on Tumblr and Instagram.

Currently his works are followed by tens of thousands of people from all around the world. His photographic blog has been chosen by Tumblr’s staff as one of 100 most interesting blogs of the whole platform, which totals in over 300 million accounts. He shares the list with such big names as Humans of New York or David Guttenfelder.

Tomasz’s photographs have been regularly published and promoted by some of the most influential art internet services, such as SFMOMA, Design Milk and Fisheye Magazine. He was interviewed on photography on numerous occasions. His works are sold mainly in the USA, while he remains almost completely unknown in Poland.

(iGNANT – 2017)

Coming from Czestochowa, a city in southern Poland, Margol is better known abroad than in his native country. With most of his works being sold in USA, the photographer gained the popularity soon after he started to publish his images on the Internet, mainly on Tumlbr and Instagram.

Shot in different parts of the world, Margol’s images are quietly peeked scenes, caught in that one right moment that’s so easy to miss. Looking at these photographs is like wandering through a city and catching little nuances of the surrounding world. May it be a portrait of a peculiar passer-by or a carefully captured composition of tones, Margol’s imagery seems to simply celebrate the act of observing.

(Raika Studio – 2017)

A catcher of nuances, an observer of human behavior and a cherisher of little moments. These are three of many titles that come to mind when describing the work of photographer Tomasz Margol.

Originally from Czestochowa in Poland Tomasz started out a few years back by publishing his photos on the internet, Tumblr and Instagram. Since then, he has gained a loyal following from all around the world. The realistic style of photography with which Tomasz captures portraits, city scenes and compositions of tones makes him an essential feature in our Circle.
